Collections and payment reminders

AI Collection Calls and Payment Reminders

Calling AI calls your customers with upcoming or late payments on the days and hours you set, reminds them without pressure and notes the payment date they give. On enterprise setups it sends an SMS with a payment link during the call, and once the payment succeeds the record is written to your CRM. Disputes and payment plan requests go to your team, with no promises made.

What it does on collection calls

  • Upcoming payment reminders

Calls the customer before the due date and politely reminds them of the amount and the deadline.

  • Late payment follow-up

Calls customers whose payment is late, asks when they'll pay and notes the date they give.

  • Payment link during the call

On enterprise setups it sends the customer an SMS with a payment link; once the payment succeeds it writes the record to your CRM.

  • Debt enquiry line

Verifies the caller, then gives the debt details; records "I've paid" notices and disputes.

  • Premium and instalment reminders

Reminds customers of an insurance premium, a school instalment or a service charge and records their answer.

  • Payment plans on WhatsApp

Explains the debt item by item to a verified customer and shares the approved payment plan; it stops the reminders if the customer disputes.

  • Reaching people again

Retries unanswered calls after the delay you set and follows up unreachable people on WhatsApp or e-mail.

What is an AI collection call?

An AI collection call is a call in which an AI assistant, instead of an agent, rings customers whose payment is coming up or late and reminds them of it. The assistant speaks natural Turkish, states the amount and the due date, listens to the customer and records the outcome: did they give a payment date, say they've already paid, or dispute it.

Traditionally a team calls the list one by one. As the list grows, reminders slip, unanswered calls get lost and the team's time goes on repeating the same sentence. The assistant calls the whole list at the hours you set, retries those who don't answer and shows each person's latest status in the panel. Your team only handles disputes, payment plans and special cases.

The same assistant works on inbound calls too: it verifies customers asking about their debt, gives them the details and records "I've paid" notices, so fewer routine calls reach your collections team.

From reminder to collection: three stages

Coming due: a short reminder before the due date prevents many late payments in the first place. The assistant states the amount and date and answers any question the customer has.

Overdue: the assistant politely tells the customer the payment is late, asks when they can pay and notes the date. If they ask for a payment plan or more time, it passes the request to your team without promising anything.

Taking the payment during the call: on enterprise setups the assistant connects to your payment system. During the call it sends the customer an SMS with a payment link, the customer pays through it, and once the payment succeeds the record is written to your CRM. Card details are never read out on the phone.

Protecting the customer relationship

A collection call should bring in the payment without losing the customer. The assistant speaks politely, without pressure and in your brand's tone. It never promises instalments, extensions or discounts; those decisions stay with your team.

In the ready-made finance examples the assistant never asks for the full card number, CVV, password, SMS code or ID number, and it gives no account or debt details to anyone who isn't verified. When a customer disputes, it records the request and transfers the call to your team; in the WhatsApp payment plan example it stops the reminders once the customer disputes.

You decide who is called, on which days and hours and how many times. Mark anyone who says they don't want to be called as "Do not call" to take them off future calls.

Which businesses can use it?

Banks and finance companies use it on payment reminder, collections and debt enquiry lines. On inbound calls the assistant verifies the caller, gives the debt details and records "I've paid" notices and disputes; it passes payment plan requests to an adviser without promising anything.

Insurers and agencies use it for premium reminders: the assistant calls the policyholder, reminds them without pressure, notes the answer and transfers disputes and cancellation requests to an agent. In the ready-made insurance examples the assistant never takes payment by phone and never promises instalments, extensions or discounts.

Schools remind parents of instalments and payments and answer instalment questions. Property managers send residents service charge reminders. Subscription and service businesses can follow upcoming and late payments with the same flow.

Setup and connecting your systems

On ready-made packages you upload the list in an Excel file, describe the conversation in the panel and start the calls; no code needed. The assistant connects to CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho from the panel, and to your own software via REST API and webhooks.

For tasks such as debt enquiries or taking the payment during the call, we connect to your banking and payment systems through a custom integration. For organizations that must keep data on their own systems, it can be installed on your own servers and run on local LLM, STT and TTS models.

Measuring the results

Each person's status, call history and recording stay in the panel. Write the payment date the customer gave, whether they disputed or whether they said they'd paid as report questions; the AI answers them on every call and you download the results to Excel.

So you see on one screen which customer will pay when, who needs another call and which cases are left for your team.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your list

Upload customers with upcoming or late payments in an Excel file or pick them from your saved customers; nobody is added twice.

  2. 2

    Set up the conversation

Describe in the panel what the assistant says, what it asks and when it transfers the call to your team, or start from a ready-made example.

  3. 3

    Set the calling hours

Choose the days, hours and time zone to call; you also pick the number it calls from.

  4. 4

    Add retry and follow-up rules

It calls back people who didn't answer or were busy after the delay you set, and follows up unreachable people on WhatsApp or e-mail.

  5. 5

    Follow the results

Follow each person's status, the payment date they gave and the call recording in the panel; download the results to Excel.

How the payment is taken during the call

On enterprise solutions the assistant connects to your payment system and completes the collection during the call. On ready-made packages it makes the reminder, records the customer's answer and payment date and reports the result in the panel.

  1. 1

The assistant calls the customer and confirms the amount due and the deadline.

  2. 2

During the call it sends the customer an SMS with a payment link.

  3. 3

The customer pays through that link; card details are never read out on the phone.

  4. 4

Once the payment succeeds, the collection is written to your CRM automatically.

This flow runs live on an enterprise customer's collection calls.

Calling permissions and compliance with your sector's rules, for example İYS registration and electronic commerce (ETK) permissions for commercial calls, are the responsibility of the business making the calls. Calling AI only calls the list you upload, on the days and hours you set; you can remove anyone who says they don't want to be called.

Questions about collection and payment reminder calls

Can AI make collection calls?

Yes. Calling AI calls customers with upcoming or late payments at the times you set, reminds them of the amount and date and notes the payment date they give. On enterprise setups it sends an SMS with a payment link during the call, and once the payment succeeds the record is written to your CRM.

Does it take card details on the phone?

No. Card details are never read out on the phone; the customer pays through the link sent by SMS during the call. In the ready-made finance examples the assistant never asks for the full card number, CVV, password, SMS code or ID number.

What if the customer asks for a payment plan or more time?

The assistant makes no promises. It records the request and passes it to an adviser on your team or transfers the call; the decision stays with your team.

What if the customer disputes the debt?

It doesn't argue; it records the dispute and passes the request to your team. You can mark the person as "Do not call" to take them out of the campaign. Every call is recorded, so you can listen to what was said later.

What happens to unanswered calls?

They are called again after the delay you set, or the person is reached on WhatsApp or e-mail. Each person's latest status shows in the panel.

When does it call?

Only within the days and hours you set; you also choose the time zone and the number it calls from.

Which industries can use it?

Banks and finance companies for payment reminders, collections and debt enquiries; insurers for premium reminders; schools for reminding parents of payments; and property managers for service charge reminders.

Is customer data safe?

Data is processed in line with KVKK, encrypted in transit and at rest and never used to train AI models. For organizations that must keep data on their own systems, enterprise quotes can install the system on your own servers.
